Dreams are made at Morton Games!

Finally, it’s here, the World Athletics Continental tour meet Morton Games returns to Morton Stadium Dublin tomorrow, Friday July 11th. The pre programme starts at 5.30pm. The main programme is 7.00pm. Gates open from 4.30pm.

It promises to be a star-studded affair, with many of Ireland’s best-known athletes competing including Sharlene Mawdsley, Efrem Gidey, Andrew Coscoran, Cathal Doyle, Nick Griggs, Niamh Fogarty, Jenna Bromell, Laura Nicholson, Jack Raftery, Israel Olatunde, Eric Favors, Cian McPhillips, Lauren Cadden, Sommer Lecky, Brian Fay, Darragh McElhinney, Chris O’Donnell, Shauna Bocquet and many more.

Spectators, please note the strong advice that if you have not bought a ticket that you should do so immediately online and have it on your phone, that will make your entrance to Morton Stadium all the smoother. Public transport, in accordance with our sustainability objectives we encourage all patrons to avail of public transport to Morton Stadium. The public transport system to and from is excellent: the following bus routes, numbers 16, 27b ,33, 41, 41b, 41c, 41d with a stop at Morton Stadium. Route 1 from the city to Santry (Shanard) is a 10-minute walk to Morton Stadium. Route N6 runs from Finglas/Kilbarrack/Finglas with a stop on Santry Avenue, (2 minutes’ walk to Morton Stadium).

Cycling: Santry is very well serviced by cycle routes; bike racks are available in the stadium.

Car Parking: Please note there is no public car-parking whatsoever within the stadium for either spectators or athletes.

Thanks to Trinity College there will be limited car parking available in Trinity Sports Grounds, Santry Avenue, Santry. Open 4.30pm to 9.45pm.

Trinity Sports Grounds is approx. a 10/15-minute walk from Morton Stadium.

Please note there is no car-parking permitted on the Swords Road, on the main route through the Northwood complex nor is there any event parking in Santry Demsene Park. The authorities may have any vehicles parked in these areas ticketed or towed away.

There will be a selection of food truck options on the evening, plus of course great music from the Morton Games DJ. So come along, cheer your hearts out and have a night where Dreams Are Made!
