National Champion Healy facing stiff challenge

Last year’s one two in the 400 at Morton Games are set for a rematch but this time over 200.  2019 National 200 champion Phil Healy (Bandon A.C.) Ireland’s fastest woman will look to turn the tables on Maggie Barrie who won last year’s 400.  Maggie Barrie is confirmed to return to Morton Games, last year she was the first athlete ever to represent Sierra Leone compete at Morton Games.  Healy has now fully recovered from serious injury and is now hitting form, witness her superb win in the Nationals in Santry yesterday..   Also confirmed at this stage is Isidora Jimenez (CHI), the Chilean National Champion over both 100 and 200, a seasoned competitor who has competed at World Championship level and who boasts a PB in her armory of 22.95, slightly faster than Healy’s 22.99.
