At last nights (March 3rd) Bruce Lehane Invitational in Boston, USA, not only was there a new world indoor mile record of 3.47.01 set by Yomif Kejeicha (ETH) but there were a couple of red hot runs from recent Morton Milers. The 2016 Morton Mile winner Johnny Gregorek (USA) was 2nd in 3.49.98 which was only 0.09 short of Bernard Lagat’s US record. In 3rd place was last year’s Morton Mile winner Sam Prakel (USA) who also ran a PB of 3.50.94 with the 2018 Morton Mile 3rd place finisher Henry Wynne (USA) 4th also in a PB of 3.51.26.
