Lots of ISHKA will be needed for red hot 200

A hugely talented field of world-class spirnters has been gathered for the ISHKA women's 200 . The race will feature the cream of Irish and overseas athletes. The entry list includes 2016 European 4 x 100 gold medallists Tessa Van Schagen (NED) who has a PB of 22.86. Isidora Jimenez (CHI), PB 22.95, an athlete who has competed at World Championships level. From the United States Keira Parker who has a 23.19 PB and Asha Ruth, more renowned as a 400 specialist . Returning to Santry is the winner of last year's 400 Maggie Barrie (SLE) and first time visitor to Morton Games Charlotte Wingfield (MAL).


Irish hopes will rest on the shoulders of Bandon AC athlete and Ireland's fastest woman Phil Healy. Healy has well and truly put her early season injury behind her and is this hitting superb form. The other Irish athlete in the field will be watched with great interest as 100 hurdler Sarah Lavan (Emerald AC) turns her hand to the 200.
